  Experience

 After working for twenty years overseas as a classroom teacher, a college principal, and as a schools inspector  John Slater set up the Yorkshire Bookseller on his return to the UK in the early 1980's. His experience has been  invaluable in understanding the needs and requirements of overseas educational institutions and we have  followed a tradition of recruiting staff with similar experience.
